Open Studios Latrobe 2025

This is the first time l have decided to participate in the Open Studios program and l will be in the print room with one other artist, at the Artist Resource Collective (arc) Yinnar. This is in Latrobe and it is a heritage Butter Factory building.

The upgraded print room has many different printing presses, in a large space. l have focused on screen printing and copper plate etching. Recently screen printing on tees and tote bags.
The screen printed skull tee is called ‘Analogue Thinker’ and the blue coming out of the skull is all the creative thoughts and ideas.

I enjoy the drive to Yinnar, as l get to see each seasons colours in the outdoor environment.
When l am at arc l often enjoy walking out to the back of the building, to the Yinnar Community Garden. t The garden and arc has a long history of working alongside local first nations people. You can find signage at the garden to read about its history.

I will have a free colouring in sheet and l will be drawing over the weekend. Some of the items on view and for sale, will be a small mix of artist prints, tees, tote bags, cards and an ideas book to look through. l will also have one new mixed media print, that l havnt shown yet.

Pop in and say hello and have a chat about all things art. l am artist no 18 on the map. The weekend is October 25th & 26th October. It is only $5 per person (children free) to visit all of the studios!
